Breakfast Sausage Rolls

Sausage rolls stuffed with mozzarella cheese, eggs, green pepper, green onion, and Rhodes bread dough.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg sausage (Jimmy Dean 10 oz.)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • chopped green pepper
  • chopped green onion
  • 1 loaf Rhodes Bread

Instructions

  1. Do ahead: fry sausage and drain, then scramble egg, add cheese, onion and pepper. Mix all together and put in sealed container for A.M.
  2. Roll out bread dough 18 x 8 inch. Spread mix on dough, pinch together/ seam side down. Bake 350° for 35 minutes.

Notes

  • I usually use 4-6 eggs and lots of cheese. I mix cheese with cheddar, feta, mozzarella or whatever.
