Sunday Dinner Rolls
Soft dinner rolls written on a worn index card with a reminder to brush the tops with butter.

Ingredients
- 2 cups warm milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 packets yeast
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 5 to 6 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Dissolve the yeast in warm milk with a spoonful of sugar.
- Stir in eggs, melted butter, remaining sugar, salt, and enough flour to make a soft dough.
- Let rise, shape into rolls, rise again, and bake at 375F until golden.
Notes
- The card suggests brushing the tops with butter as soon as the rolls come out.
